Bareburger had very humble beginnings. They opened their first restaurant, a 40 seater, in a rundown bakery, in Astoria, Queens, New York, USA in the year 2009. From day one, they have been serving organic burgers.

They believe in love, service, and organic & sustainable food. They try to source most of the fresh ingredients locally, from produce that is free of pesticides and GMOs. The beef is from grass feed cows.

We had gone for lunch with family to their restaurant located in Festival City. The interiors are made from reclaimed material. Mostly the wood and metal. They have put up surreal photo frames of animal heads on human bodies.

We started with the rings (onion) and fries (potato).  It can along with three special sauces, habanero mayo, curry ginger ketchup and another special sauce.

We were six of us, so we ordered different burgers each;

I had the Mexican styled El Matador burger with the Venison (Deer meat) patty, along with aged cheddar, green leaf, pickled jalapenos, guacamole, spicy pico de gallo in a brioche bun.

Buckaroo – Hereford prime beef, aged cheddar, brisket, mushrooms, smoke sauce in brioche bun.

Buttermilk buffalo – Buffalo fried chicken, bleu, green leaf, buttermilk ranch, buffalo sauce in brioche bun.

Pickled fried chicken – Buttermilk fried chicken, green leaf, sweet pickles, horseradish remoulade in brioche bun

Wiki Wiki – Grilled lemon chicken, gouda, duck bacon, friend onion, grilled pineapple, buttermilk ranch in brioche bun.

California BLT – grilled chicken, beef bacon, alfalfa, guacamole, tomatoes, paprika mayo in multi grain sliced bread.

For deserts we had the Bakla-Wow – a dessert formulated by one of their staffs and is particular to Dubai, keeping in mind the palate of the Middle Eastern customers. It is made with Vanilla ice-cream, baklava, caramel sauce, whipped cream and topped with pistachio.

I am not a big fan of burgers, but I loved the burgers at this restaurant. They were different from the others; Juicy, saucy, tangy and tasty. Bearburger is very flexible to choosing options of meats, toppings, etc. The staff is very friendly and courteous.
